MICHAEL FRANTI
Michael Franti is a musician who decided to travel to the core of the Red Zoned, war torn, neighbourhoods of Baghdad, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. He was armed only with his guitar and video cameras, intent on experiencing first hand the human cost of war. Out of his journey he made a documentary I know I'm Not Alone and an album Yell Fire!
RICHARD CARTER
Richard Carter, a British priest, was tutor and chaplain to the Melanesian Brotherhood, an Anglican order of Christian brothers known for their peace work throughout the South Pacific. In 2003, seven members of The Brotherhood, were brutally murdered as a result of ethnic conflict in the Solomon Islands.
His book In Search of the Lost is published by Canterbury Press.
CLAIRE BLOOM
Claire Bloom is currently starring in the West End play Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks which tells the story of an unlikely acquaintance between a sprightly retiree and her young dance teacher.
Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks is at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
TOM HOPE
Tom Hope was originally a lawyer who took early retirement to pursue an alternative career in theatre. He is currently producing the family musical, The Mouse Queen which opens at the Hampstead Theatre on 7th December.
