RUCHIKA SOI
Ruchika Soi is curator of a new exhibition on contemporary Indian art called Shifting Focus which celebrates the spirit and vibrancy of the Indian Nation, showcasing the talents of seven young Indian artists. Shifting Focus is at the Air Gallery, 32 Dover Street, London W1 from 30th October to 4th November.
MAJOR GENERAL
BARNEY WHITE-SPUNNER
Major General Barney White-Spunner joined the Blues and Royals from university and has served in the Household Cavalry ever since. Using their extensive archives he has written the first major history of the Household Cavalry. The book Horse Guards is published by Macmillan.
ANDY SUMMERS
Andy Summers is probably best known for being the guitarist with the band The Police. His autobiography One Train Later is published by Portrait Books.
MARTYN COLBECK
Martyn Colbeck is a wildlife cameraman and photographer. He is the presenter/narrator of An Eye for an Elephant, a film about his 15 years of getting up close and personal with elephants in Kenya, Namibia and Congo. An Eye for an Elephant will be screened at 8 pm on 1st November on BBC2.
