SISSEL TOLAAS
Norwegian artist Sissel Tolaas is fascinated and passionate about smells and wants to expand that sense in language and communication. She's taking part in the Liverpool Biennial 06 which runs from 16 September until 28 November. Tolaas has been collecting smells from the four corners of the city which have been encapsulated into micro eggs which will released by touch or sensor as visitors approach the centre. Her project is called OUTSIDEIN.
SARGY MANN
Sargy is an artist who went blind in 2005. He has continued to paint and has an exhibition from 18 September until 19 October at Cadogan Contemporary at 108 Draycott Avenue in London .
RUPERT EVERETT
Film star Rupert Everett was taken to the cinema at the young age of 6 to see Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and from then on he was hooked on the theatre and cinema. The star of such films as Another Country, The Importance of Being Earnest and My Best Friend's Wedding and the voice of Prince Charming in Shrek has written Red Carpets and other banana skins- Rupert Everett the autobiography- published by Little Brown at £18.99.
TOM REYNOLDS
Tom is an emergency medical technician who works for the London Ambulance services in East London . He has kept a daily diary since 2003 on a web site called Random Acts of Reality now a book Blood, Sweat and Tea which is published by Friday Books at £7.99
