OMID DJALILI
Omid Djalili has been described as Britain's funniest Iranian stand-up comedian and actor. His big break first came in 1995 when he enjoyed great success at the Edinburgh Festival with his one man show, Short Fat Kebab Shop Owner's Son. He's appeared in films including Gladiator,The Mummy,The World Is Not Enough,as Picasso in Modigliani and as Lupo in Casanova. More recently he's been given his own sitcoms for the BBC and for HBO. He is about to embark on a UK tour, No Agenda, which culminates at the London Palladium.
KAYLA WILLIAMS
In January 2000, at the age of 23, Kayla Williams joined the US Army reserves to train as an Arabic interpreter. She spent a year serving in Iraq, where she had to navigate both extreme physical danger and emotional minefields.
She has written her account of life as a woman in the army and Iraq:-

CONSTANCE BRISCOE
Constance Briscoe practices as a barrister. She is also one of the first black women to sit as a judge in the UK.
She has written the story of how she triumphed over her brutal upbringing. Ugly is published by Hodder, at £12.99.
DAVID SUCHET
David Suchet has worked extensively in theatre, television and film, most notably as Agatha Christie's Poirot.
He now makes his debut at the National Theatre as Glogauer in Once in a Lifetime.
