Matthew Cook was commissioned by the Times as their war artist to cover the conflict in Iraq. An exhibition of his work behind the scenes has just gone on display. ELLIE SOMME
Ellie Somme is the daughter of a Norwegian resistance hero, Sven Somme. Caught photographing a military barracks he was forced to flee the country and embarked on a 200-mile trek across the mountains to Sweden. Sixty years later, Ellie set out to re-trace his steps. JOHN HURT
The actor, John Hurt, has played many memorable roles - Caligula, Quentin Crisp and Richard Merrick The Elephant Man. He is now back on the West End stage in the new Tom Stoppard translation of the Gérald Sibleyras play Heroes.
Heroes is at the Wyndhams Theatre until 14 January, 2006.

RICHARD CORRIGAN
Richard Corrigan is the head chef and patron of the Michelin-starred Lindsay House in Soho. He has prepared lunch at 10 Downing Street for Tony Blair and the King & Queen of Jordan; and the Lord Mayor's dinner at the London Guildhall.
He has just taken over the fish restaurant Bentleys, where he was head chef 12 years ago.
