JOHN MAHONEY
John Mahoney is a British born, award-winning actor. He started his career with John Malkovich's Steppenwolf Company in Chicago, went on to win a Tony award for his work on Broadway. He is probably best known for his role as Marty Crane in the hugely popular C4 series Frasier.
He is currently appearing in Romance, at the Almeida Theatre in London, until 22 October.

CYNTHIA LENNON
Cynthia Powell met John Lennon in 1957 when they were art students in Liverpool. Their relationship began before the mayhem of Beatlemania and went on to span ten of the most important Beatles' years. Cynthia has now written the personal story of her life with the most idolised and admired of all the Beatles. John is published by Hodder and Stoughton, at £20.
SIR ROY STRONG
Sir Roy Strong has been the Director of the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum. He is also the author of many books on subjects as diverse as history and gardening.
He has now written: Coronation: A History of Kingship and the British Monarchy, published by Harper Collins, at £25.
DR. HASSAN ARERO
Dr Hassan Arero is a social anthropologist based at London's Horniman Museum.
He lived in the rainforest as part of the research for the exhibition Amazon to Caribbean: Early Peoples of the Rainforest, which runs at the Horniman Museum from 1 October.
