JIM LAWLESS
Jim Lawless has gone from non-rider to jockey in a year, and recently rode in his first amateur race.
His 'day' job is as a motivational speaker - so when a client bet him £1 that he couldn't become a jockey, he readily took up the challenge. He sold his car to buy a horse, moved from London to the country, and transformed himself from an 11 stone, non-riding smoker in a suit to a 9 stone jockey.
DYLAN MORAN
Perrier-award winning comedian, writer and actor, dubbed the "Oscar Wilde of Stand up", Dylan Moran is probably best known for his role of Bernard in the C4 TV series Black Books.
A recording of his stand-up - Dylan Moran Live - Monster - is now available on Video and DVD.
CLARENCE ADOO
Clarence Adoo was introduced to the cornet at the age of 6, as a member of the Salvation Army. He learned the trumpet and pursued a varied career in all forms of music, from pop and jazz to classical, until a car accident left him paralysed from the shoulders down.
His passion for music continues in his current role as Education Animateur for the Northern Sinfonia. The orchestra is about to move into their new home - the £70 million Norman Foster designed Sage Gateshead.
TANYA MARRIOTT
Tanya's grandfather, Fred Logan, was a mid-upper gunner on a Lancaster bomber. She now appears as part of Bomber Crew in the search for her family roots.
Bomber Crew is on C4 on Mondays at 9.00pm.
