BEACH HUT
From her beach hut on the north Kent coast, Sandi Toksvig discusses the changing nature of the seaside town of Whitstable.  As the modern town debates whether a marina should be built, it is easy to forget that in Victorian times it had a nude bathing beach.

Sandi is joined by local historian Geoff Pike, Thanet Coast ecotourism officer Naomi Biggs; Whitstable resident, vegetable grower and Veg Talk and Masterchef co-presenter Gregg Wallace and Ben Walton, Chef at the Crab and Winkle to talk about the rare and luminous delicacy, piddock soup and to debate the relative merits of eating oysters raw or deep fried.

Presented by Sandi Toksvig
