MICHAEL FENTON STEVENS and PHILIP POPE rose to prominence through their involvement with Radio 4's award winning comedy RADIO ACTIVE and its spin-off, KYTV, produced by and featuring the original Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy producer, to whom our first episode of this new Dirk Gently series is fondly dedicated, GEOFFREY PERKINS.

Michael is a familiar face both on screen and stage and has appeared in THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY TERTIARY, QUANDARY and QUINTESSENTIAL PHASES as well as DIRK GENTLY'S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY (Series One). Michael's biggest moment came with the hit song from Spitting Image, The Chicken Song, a number 1 record in 1986. Over 20 years later he still dreads being asked to sing it at parties.

He has had a long and successful career as an actor including roles in Trevor's World of Sport, Drop the Dead Donkey, and My Dad's the Prime Minister . But all they remember is that song.
