Dirk Maggs' audio productions have won international awards, including Sony, Audie and Talkie Awards and the New York Festivals Gold Award twice (The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy - 2005; Flywheel, Shyster & Flywheel - 1992). He was among the first nominees for the Directors Guild Award for Outstanding Achievement in audio drama, has been awarded the Mark Time Life Achievement Award and was elected an Honorary Fellow of the University of Winchester for his work in the dramatic arts.
Dirk is currently writing and directing several projects in vision and sound, including the first ever BBC Radio productions of Douglas Adams' Dirk Gently novels.
