An image of Andrew Sachs as Professor Urban 'Reg' Chronotis.

Andrew has many theatre credits - repertory, tours, West End including RNT - in a wide range of plays from Shakespeare to Ray Cooney ... from panto villain to panto dame ... and in 2003 he toured the UK in his own show Life After Fawlty.

On television he played the title role in The History of Mr. Polly, 'Trinculo' in The Tempest, 'Einstein' for BBC Horizon, 'Manuel' in Fawlty Towers, leads in 3 other sit-coms, The Lime Green Bag (Monologue) and most recently 'Mr Loveday' in Mr Loveday's Little Outing for BBC. He co-wrote and presented When in Spain and Berliners. Some of his animation series are Forbidden Toys, Wiggly Park and Blue Dragon, voicing anything from humans to beanbags.

He has been heard on hundreds of radio productions over 40 years, including two Sherlock Holmes series (as Dr. Watson), Don Quixote (Book at Bedtime), The Jewish Journey (presenter) and The Code of The Woosters (as Jeeves). His recordings include many commercials and documentary narrations, audiobooks - Dombey & Son, all seven Narnia Chronicles and Silas Marner - as well as many novels, poetry albums and children's stories.

He has made seven films, more than a dozen of his theatre and radio plays have been produced, and he is currently writing a book.
