Political Animal

Tuesday 11.00 - 11.30pm
John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman in Political Animal
A weekly show in which comedians and writers come together to perform political material in front of a live audience.
Featuring cutting-edge satire from an exciting mix of new and more established acts, Political Animal is an incisive, unpredictable, and richly entertaining show, offering political comedy which reaches far beyond the bounds of Westminster into the broader issues which shape the world today.

Political Animal is hosted by John Oliver (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) and Andy Zaltzman (The Late Edition, writer Bremner, Bird and Fortune).

The new series will feature cutting-edge stand-up from Chris Addison, Mark Steel, Paul Sinha, Glenn Wool, Stewart Lee, Shappi Khorsandi, Lewis Schaffer, Ian Stone, Frankie Boyle, Stephen Grant, David Cross, John Hegley, Natalie Haynes, among others.

There's an added American dimension, as one of the shows will be recorded in New York City, giving listeners the chance to hear American comics’ perspective on political events there.
