Mark Radcliffe celebrates the unique and much-loved Bolton poet and comedian Hovis Presley, whose gentle humour and wordplay earned him the respect of comedians, musicians and writers in the 1990s. Unable to face the beckoning pressures of fame, he stepped out of the limelight and died tragically young a few years later.
Contributors include Johnny Vegas, John Cooper Clarke, John Hegley, Lucy Porter and Badly Drawn Boy.
