Images from Miniature Worlds, work by Tessa Farmer
Tessa Farmer Tessa Farmer's tiny fairies and hell's angels, created from plant and tree roots, owe their scale to the insect wings which sprout from their backs. Her works are on exhibition with those of other artists at the Jerwood Space in London, in the Miniature Worlds Exhibition. Tessa's work investigates a fictional world where the behaviour of these fairies becomes increasing sinister as they mutate, mimic and torture the insects around them.
Miniature Worlds runs until 9 September 2006. For further information, please visit the Miniature Worlds website.
