Fix Up by Kwame Kwei-Armah at the National Theatre
Michael Coveney reviews this play about mixed race in Britain. Set during Black History month in Tottenham where Revive PLC Plan to turn Kwesi's all Black African Party hotbed into luxury flats and Kiyi's "conscious" bookstore will be threatened.

Fix Up is in rep at the National Theatre until March.

The Smiths guitarist talks to John Wilson about how he writes music, plans for a musical and writing for television. He's provided part of the soundtrack for the Christmas edition of Shameless on Channel 4.

Maggi Hambling and the vandalism of public art
As plans are announced to prevent further vandalism to the statue of Donald Dewar in Glasgow and the artist for a replacement Christmas crib in Trafalgar Square is revealed - Front Row talks to the sculptor Maggi Hambling about the damage done to her figure commemorating the writer Oscar Wilde.
