Island at War
A new ITV series focuses on the wartime ordeals of Channel-Islanders - however, it's a drama, not a documentary and many aspects of this traumatic time have been fictionalised, including the identity of the island itself. Historian & columnist Madeleine Bunting, author of "The Model Occupation" and Channel-Islander Bob le Sueur discuss the merits of this approach.
"Island At War" begins on ITV1 on Sunday 11th July, at 9pm - and runs for six weeks.
