Award-winning biographer of suicidal American poet, Anne Sexton, Diane has drawn on new meterial to produce surprising conclusions about the marriage of poets Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath.
Her Husband – Hughes and Plath: A Marriage is published in hardback next week.

HELL'S KITCHEN
ITV’s latest reality show seems on the surface more appetising: the competitors get to taste lobster, rissotto, beef wellington and scallops on a regular basis.
The catch is that they have to cook it themselves in a kitchen run by Gordon Ramsay.
Hell’s Kitchen continues on ITV 1 at 9pm in the evenings and on ITV2 at various times throughout day.

DESIGNER OF THE YEAR
Internet designer Daniel Brown won the Designer of the Year award. He competed against Craig Johnston, a former midfielder for Liverpool football team who created a new football boot called The Pig, Sam Buxton, a sculptor who also makes clocks and Paul Cocksedge, who designs lights and lamps.

M-CHANNEL
A new digital network called M-Channel launched today. It tries to see TV as the friend of young musicians rather than the enemy. The channel consists of half-hour lessons for musicians and singers.
