MONA LISA SMILE
Julia Roberts stars as a 1950s art teacher trying to sharpen up the attitudes of Wellesley college students in the new film Mona Lisa Smile. Directed by Mike Newell the man behind Four Weddings and a Funeral - it's reviewed for Front Row by former Wellesley college student journalist Ellin Stein.

GUNPOWDER, TREASON & PLOT
Mark Lawson interviews award-winning writer Jimmy McGovern who will bring the story behind the Gunpowder Plot to BBC TWO in 2 original films exploring the lives of Mary Queen of Scots and her son James 1st.

Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, will be shown on BBC TWO on Sunday 14 March and Sunday 21 March at 9.00pm

MESOPOTAMIAN SEX GODDESS
John Wilson speaks to Neil McGregor about the British Museum's purchase, with lottery funds, of a 4,000 year old terracotta frieze known as 'The Queen of the Night', for 1.5 million.
