The Perfect Tomato Sauce as seen in The Godfather
Ingredients
Olive oil
Garlic
Tomatoes
Tomato paste
Sausages
Meatballs
Red wine
Sugar
Method
Start with a little bit of oil and fry some garlic, then throw in some tomatoes, some tomato paste and fry, making sure it doesn't stick. Bring it to the boil and throw in the sausages and meatballs, add a little bit of wine and a little bit of sugar. And remember, gangsters don't brown, they fry.
