Matt's fought his way up from the bottom by not taking 'no' for an answer, even from district council planning committees, which is how the Grange Spinney housing development was eventually built. In 2005, after a messy and expensive divorce from ex-wife Yvette, Matt moved in with former mistress Lilian Bellamy, although we suspect that Nightingale Farm is not quite grand enough for the pair.
