Honour among thieves? (Pause for hollow laughter.) Clive demonstrated quite the opposite when he was on the run following an armed raid on the Village Shop. He forced his big sister Susan Carter to harbour him, and then when eventually caught, he shopped her to the police. Nice... When he returned to Ambridge after his prison sentence, it wasn't long before ex-copper George Barford correctly suspected that Clive was linked to a series of burglaries in the area. When Clive was released following that sentence, he conducted a twisted vendetta against George that culminated in 2004 in a firebomb attack on George's house. Badly burned, Clive sought refuge with Susan once more, but this time she did the right thing. Clive got 12 years. |
