Stephen Chalkman
played by David Kendall
Description
Long-term associate of Matt Crawford. When Matt was trying to hide money during his divorce, he "paid" Chalkman a large sum as Matt's "financial consultant". Matt also "lost" £50,000 to his old mate in a very well-staged poker game, complete with upstanding landowner Nigel Pargetter as a witness. All this came home to roost for Matt when Chalkman saw fit to offload on to him the blame for suspected fraud, and Matt realised his "friend" was nothing of the sort.
