Roy's tearaway past is well and truly behind him. These days he holds down a job as deputy manager at Grey Gables and is happily settled into married life in one half of Willow Farm. After the loss of his mum he felt guilty about leaving dad Mike alone in the house, so he and wife Hayley found the perfect solution in the conversion of the existing house. Little did he know that Mike wasn't to be alone for long and that he would soon have a larger-than-life stepmum to contend with.
