Marjorie Antrobus
played by Margot Boyd
Description
It did not sit easily with the redoubtable Mrs Antrobus when she was forced to admit in 2003 that a nursing home would be the best place for her. Her colonial background in Burma, Palestine and Africa meant that she was stoutly independent and her physical frailty frustrated her. However she's now settled in to life at the Laurels and keeps the other residents amused with her sharp wit.
