Kenton Archer

played by Richard Attlee

Description

The phrase 'he's a constant worry to his mother' could have been invented for Kenton Archer. Unlike his twin sister Shula, stickability is not his strong suit and parents Jill and Phil have had to bail him out on numerous occasions, usually after uncovering a web of white lies. Pasting over his shortcomings with copious quantities of boyish charm, Kenton has hopped from a non-starter of a career in the merchant navy via several failed businesses and one failed marriage to a precarious position in the driving seat at Jaxx Caff. You'd think the birth of his child Meriel would have induced a sense of responsibility, but this leopard shows no sign of changing his spots; luckily partner Kathy Perks indulges his flights of fancy and they rub along very happily together.
