Plays Brian Aldridge
He attended the same school (Sherborne) and shares his ability to charm, but Charles Collingwood otherwise insists that he has nothing in common with Brian Aldridge. The main difference being that whilst Brian goes home to the long-suffering Jennifer, Charles shares his life with actress Judy Bennett, who plays Shula. It would be interesting to know if there is any other married couple who have shared both a marriage and a programme for over 25 years. If so, Charles would like to meet them.
