Joanna van Kampen
Description
Joanna has played feisty Fallon Rogers, daughter of Jolene, in BBC Radio 4’s The Archers since 2000.
Joanna was born and brought up in Pinner. She trained at LAMDA and graduated in 1998. She played various parts throughout her training including Abigail Williams in The Crucible and Ranyevskaya in The Cherry Orchard.
Joanna has done a considerable amount of theatre work ranging from the following; Spanish Golden Age season at the R.S.C. (Stratford, West End and 2004/5 tour); Our Country’s Good at the Nuffield Theatre; Luther at the Royal National Theatre; Spot’s Birthday Party at the Oxford Playhouse (and consequent tour); and The Pierglass which was a Fringe First Winner. She was also in the BBC comedy Happiness with Paul Whitehouse.
Joanna can play the piano and violin, dances, enjoys most sports including swimming and yoga. She also enjoys cooking and lives in Hoxton, London.
