Barry Farrimond
Description
Barry, born in June 1980, joined the cast in 1999 but had been spoken about for some time. He has been cast in many other dramas for BBC Radio 3 and 4 including Oddballs, Car Twubble, Richard II and The Man In The Trees.
Barry has recently appeared on the television screen in The Cappuccino Years as Malcolm in the BBC’s dramatisation of the follow up to Sue Townsend’s Adrian Mole. Barry has also been cast in Family Affairs (Pearson TV), The Bill (ITV), London’s Burning and Grange Hill. He has also appeared in several theatre productions for the RSC including Tamberlain the Great, Macbeth and Spring Awakenenings.
Barry has undertaken voice-work, including The Madness of King George, Princess Carabou, and the BBC’s Middlemarch and Newsround.
Barry enjoys rock-climbing and can also stilt walk, juggle, fire breathe, fire juggle and even dabbles in a little knife juggling! He has just finishing his second year on a Creative Music Technology course at Bath Spa University and released his first record on the Bristol based independent record label Jungle Tek Movement.
