Children in Need's Pudsey The competition has now closed. For reference purposes the details of the competition are listed below.








To enter, you must be over 18, available for your day out on Sunday 2 November, and able to answer this question:

Terms and conditions below

1. The competition is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands, aged 18 or over, except BBC employees, anyone connected with the competition and their close relatives. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.
2. Entry to the competition is by calling 09049 59 60 60. Each phone call will cost £1 from a BT landline. 77.5p from each call will be donated to Children In Need. Calls from other operators or mobiles may be higher. Callers must have the bill payer’s consent. The competition line will open at 1900 on Monday 6th October and close at midnight on Monday 27 October. Calls made outside those times will not count as entries and may be charged.
3. All entrants must supply their daytime telephone number.
4. There will only be one winner, though s/he may be accompanied by a friend or relative who must also be over 18 years of age. The prize consists of a visit to the BBC’s studios in Birmingham where the winner and guest will be able to watch an episode being recorded and have lunch with members of the cast. The winner will also have the chance to participate in the recording. Children in Need will pay reasonable travelling expenses for winner and guest.
5. The winner will be the first eligible entry selected at random from all correct entries received by the closing date. The draw will be conducted under independent supervision on Wednesday 29th October 2008.
6. The prize is as stated. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.
7. The winner will have to agree to keep confidential some details of the visit and may only take photographs when permitted to do so by the BBC.
8. The BBC’s decision as to the winner is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
9. The winner will be notified within 2 days of the close of the competition on the number supplied when entering. If a winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made the BBC reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up.
10. Winner names and the solution to the question will be available on the Archers website from 29/10/08 date for 3 weeks.
11. Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.
12. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify any entries that breach these rules or are in any way fraudulent or inaudible. The BBC also reserves the right to cancel a competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control.
13. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
