In search of traditional music, Lucy Duran traveled to two of the remotest parts of Greece. She visited Epirus, high up in the north on the Albanian border. As well as the ancient and now almost lost art of polyphony, the region is famous for its clarinet tradition. She met its greatest exponent Petroloukas Chalkias who performed an exclusive set for the programme.

In the second programme, Lucy continued her search for some of the rarest and most exciting traditional music in Greece. She traveled down south to the birthplace of Zeus, and the home to some of Greece's most celebrated musicians: the Great Island, Crete.
