Out and about at WOMAD by Maud Hand
"Now in its 21st year, Womad is a must for any music lover curious about what the wider world of culture has to offer. For three days and nights the sports centre and surrounding banks of Reading's Rivermeade are transformed into a mini-planet of non-stop performance, parties and camp-fire camraderie. For the first time in seven years, it's been raining so reporter Maud Hand donned her wellies and waterproofs to plod out among the people and performers to hear how they've been enjoying this year's festival."
