Biography

Born in Sweden, she studied at Gothenburg University and the RCM, and is currently a member of Gothenburg Opera.

Her guest engagements have included Corinna in Il viaggio a Reims) (New York City Opera), Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier (Royal Opera, La Monnaie, Brussels), Susanna and Iole (Aix-en-Provence Festival), Niece in Peter Grimes (Glyndebourne), Nannetta and Zerlina (Metropolitan Opera, New York), Pamina (Drottningholm, Royal Opera), Dorinda in Orlando (Royal Opera), Gretel (Geneva Opera) and Mélisande (Gothenburg).

She also has a busy concert career, working with such conductors as Blomstedt, Bychkov, Honeck, Jacobs, McCreesh, Muti and Salonen. Her plans include appearances at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, Bastille, Glyndebourne, Lyric Opera of Chicago and San Francisco Opera in repertory including Susanna, Sophie, Ilia, Rosina and Oscar.
