In a live edition of Radio 3's weekly cabaret of poetry, language and performance, Ian McMillan is joined on stage at the Radio Theatre at Broadcasting House by Poems in Between People, a group of young performance poets.

The Verb this evening comes live from the Radio Theatre at Broadcasting House.

Ian McMillan will be joined on stage by comedian Phill Jupitus, who is reviving his Porky The Poet persona. He'll be reading some new poetry and recalling his early life as a performance poet. Ian will also be considering the language of the end of the school term with novelist Anna Davies, and there's live performance from Poem Inbetween People.
 
Phill Jupitus, and Poem Inbetween People will be performing at this year's Latitude Festival in Southwold between 17 and 20 July
