The Anglican choral tradition in the US

Sunday 18 June 2006 18:30-20:00 (Radio 3)

Aled Jones takes a musical road trip from the East to the West coast of America to find out why the Anglican choral tradition has had such an impact in the US.

He starts his journey in New York, where he talks to John Scott, organist and choir-master at St Thomas' Church, Fifth Avenue, about his very English influence on choral work there. Aled also stops off in Minnesota and asks Philip Brunelle about his philosophy for getting the best out of his choir, VocalEssence.
