A concert given at the Edinburgh Festival, featuring the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in a work by Stravinsky paying tribute to Tchaikovsky, which cast the former in a new light at its premiere in the 1920s. The other pieces in the programme likewise reveal unfamiliar aspects of two of today's leading British composers.
