Ian Bostridge with Antonio Pappano
A recording from the 2006 Schubertiade in the Austrian town of Schwarzenberg by British tenor Ian Bostridge accompanied on piano by Antonio Pappano, music director of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. They perform Schubert's last song cycle Schwanengesang and Wolf's intensely expressive Morike and Eichendorff Lieder.
