Sean Rafferty's first guests are Philip Pickett with narrator Edward de Souza, singers Julia Gooding, Michael George and Mark Rowlinson, and members of the New London Consort. They perform extracts from Purcell's Indian Queen ahead of their complete performance at London's Queen Elizabeth Hall. Conductor Donald Runnicles and pianist Andreas Haefliger also drop in.
The nominees for this year's Royal Philharmonic Society awards will be announced by the RPS Chairman Graham Sheffield, who joins Sean down the line from the Barbican Hall.
