Satoko Fujii in session

Jez Nelson presents a specially recorded session with Japanese pianist Satoko Fujii. Blending jazz, contemporary classical and traditional Japanese folk influences, she has developed her own unique sound since she released her debut record in 1996. She is joined by Natsuki Tamura on trumpet and a top flight New York rhythm section, bassist Mark Dresser and star drummer Jim Black. Plus, Jez selects the best of the latest CD releases.
