TheRoyal Philharmonic Society Music Awards in association with BBC Radio 3. Your chance to vote!
The annual RPS Music Awards are the UK’s most prestigious recognition of achievement in the field of live classical music. Awards, in thirteen categories, are decided by independent panels consisting of some of the music industry’s most distinguished practitioners, with a further award decided by BBC Radio 3 listeners.
Once again, the awards will honour musicians, composers, writers, broadcasters and inspirational arts organisations who have particularly distinguished themselves during the calendar year 2007. The list of previous winners reads like a Who’s Who of classical music - last year's Radio 3 Listeners' Award winner, Miah Persson, is pictured (r) with Radio 3's Sean Rafferty and Dame Josephine Barstow.
Now you can choose the winner of the BBC Radio 3 Listeners' Award. The shortlist has been drawn together by a representative panel from across Radio 3. Voting runs from Wednesday 13 February to noon on Friday 14 March.
