Mark Rowan-Hull

Sunday 9 July 2006 12:00-13:00 (Radio 3)

Michael Berkeley's guest is abstract painter Mark Rowan-Hull, whose large, vibrant, colourful canvasses are inspired by the colours he hears in music, especially the works of Olivier Messiaen.

His musical choices include Messiaen, Benjamin Britten's The Turn of the Screw, Charles Ives' The Unanswered Question and a song by Freddie Mercury.
