A concert from Aberdeen by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, under their Music Director Stéphane Denève. It's an evening of music inspired by mighty rivers and turbulent seas. Cellist Han-na Chang makes her RSNO début with one of the most popular concertos of the repertoire.

Alexander McCall Smith reads part three of his specially commissioned story about the orchestra, and Dermot Clinch continues his orchestral A-Z. Presented by Sarah Walker.
