The British Composer Awards
Voting Rules:

1. Votes may be made online or by phone, within the period specified.
2. If you are under the age of 12 you must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before you enter this vote.
3. This vote is not open to employees or contractors of the BBC.
4. All entries must be received by midnight on the closing date: Sunday 29 October.
5. No individual may make multiple votes.
6. The vote is intended as contest of musical popularity and the organised solicitation of votes for other purposes may result in those votes being discounted or the relevant artist being disqualified.
8. The BBC reserves the right to discount any votes which it judges to be made outside the rules of the contest and to disqualify an artist for whom such votes are cast.
9. The BBC reserves the right to cancel this vote, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise which are out of the BBC’s control.
10. Voters will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to being bound by them by casting a vote.
11. The composer who receives the largest vote within the rules of the contest is declared the winner.
12. The BBC’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The works will be broadcast on Radio 3 between 7 and 19 October 2006 and you can listen to them all here from 1 October until 31 October 2006.
