Oren Marshall
Originally an oboe and recorder player, Oren Marshall took up the tuba aged 14. He was a member of Loose Tubes during the 1980s, but since then, with his customised rotating-bell instrument, he has been combining free improvisation and electronics to create a whole new sound.

Philip Clemo
Composer and film-maker Philip Clemo has assembled an array of top musicians to realise his new project Separated by Shadows. Taking cues from his three albums (details below), the performance combines electronics, keyboards and manipulated guitar with the sound of Icelandic geothermal activity, insect life from the Malaysian rainforests, Delhi street markets and metal and glass workshops, over which the other musicians are given chance to improvise.
