In an interview recorded not long before Petrucciani's death in 1999, Alyn Shipton talks to the French pianist about his career and influences. The interview reflects on how Petrucciani's disability (Osteogenesis Imperfecta, more often known as glass bones disease) proved no impediment to a triumphant jazz career on both sides of the Atlantic.
