Tord Gustavsen Trio - Listen Online

Norwegian pianist Tord Gustavsen came to prominence through his work with singers including Silje Nergaard, though it's his trio that has launched him into the international jazz scene.

The trio is completed by bassist Harald Johnsen and Supersilent drummer Jarle Vespestad and has recorded two ecstatically received albums on the seminal ECM label. Lyrical, hushed yet capable of deeply funky swing, the band's music has attracted a devoted following amongst critics and listeners alike. This set was recorded during an unamplified set at the Wigmore Hall for Late Junction.
