The pianist, composer and educator celebrated his 75th birthday with a very special concert at the BBC's Maida Vale Studio One that reunited his late 60s sextet; Norma Winstone (voice), Art Themen (tenor and soprano saxophones, clarinet), Henry Lowther (trumpet, flugelhorn), Dave Green (bass) and Trevor Tomkins (drums).
