12 January 2006

Thursday 12 January 2006 17:00-19:00 (Radio 3)

The Palladian Ensemble join Petroc this evening ahead of their 15th anniversary tour of the UK, visiting such far flung locations as Keswick, Newcastle, Truro, Warwick and Aldeburgh.

Visit the Palladian Ensemble's website for details.

After 6 o'clock Violin & Piano duo Nicola Sweeney and Sarah Nicolls play works by Mozart live in the studio.

Petroc also visits the British library where the two parts of a manuscript by Mozart, which was separated over 150 years ago by his wife, were finally brought together again today. At the same time the British Library in London has produced a digital version of 30 pages and 75 musical introductions from "Catalogue of all my Works" by Mozart, which can be accessed on its Web site
