About Esther Wilson

Esther Wilson started out as an actor but after winning one of the BBC's Northern Exposure Awards - Short film category 'The Swimming Man' she has focused more on writing.
She has written for Red Ladder Theatre Company, Soulskin, national tour.
The Liverpool Lantern Company/Zho, Halloween. Multi-media, large scale, site specific project.
Hope Street 's Healthy Arts Initiative, Rollercoaster & Whirlwind, T.I.E. regional tours.
The Unity Theatre, Wounded & Trapped.
Liverpool Everyman/Playhouse, a rehearsed reading of My Eyes.... Your Smile.
BBC R4 , Hiding Leonard Cohen - Winner of the 2004 Mental Health in Media's best Radio drama award and, more recently Hush Little Baby.
Walk the Plank, (co-writer) Noah's Ark , National Tour 2005 & Spring 2006.
The Quiet Little Englishman in development with the Unity Theatre & Zho.
R4's Unprotected (co-writer) was transmitted on March 17th 2006 to coincide with the Liverpool Everyman's stage version of Unprotected (co-writer). The Stage version is transferring to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival August 2006.
At present Esther is under commission to the Liverpool Everyman/Playhouse, Ten Tiny Toes and is currently developing ideas for the BBC.
