 Sir Michael Tippett Tippett's Songs for DovSaturday 10 December 2005 14:00-15:00 (Radio 3) Charles Hazlewood is joined by members of the BBC Philharmonic to unravel the complexities of Tippett's song cycle. The composer regarded Songs for Dov as one of his most personal works, revealing much about his 'take' on the musical and cultural world of the 1960s.
