BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year 2008. Once again we're calling choirs of all sizes and styles to take part in the UK's largest and most prestigious amateur choral competition.

In the last competition over 5,000 singers took part in choirs ranging from a Bulgarian Folk Choir, to tribute groups and traditional mixed and single voice choirs - a really exciting mix of the best talent from across the four nations.

The competition climaxes at the end of 2008 with the Category Finals and a Grand Final to be broadcast on the BBC.
